Performance
The Aqua Pure SS EPE Series whole house water filter is made of electropolished 316L stainless steel that is commonly used for high purity processes and food grade environments and helps you provide longer lasting protection against highly corrosive environments. The filter reduces sand, rust, chlorine taste and odor, and scale.
Design
The SS8 EPE has a high flow design and an electropolish exterior finish that is resistant to corrosion and is designed for both hot and cold water. The seat plates fit solidly into the cartridge core in order to ensure a strong seal, and the specially designed cartridge seal plates fit equivalent length cartridges. The electropolish exterior finish gives the filter a mirror-like finish and the highest level of resistance to corrosion while the V-band clamp is great for quick and easy opening and closing when you want to remove the cartridges.
Features
The Aqua Pure is made of a heavy duty 316L low carbon stainless steel head and housing that is resistant to both hot and cold water applications. The high-temperature capacity reaches up to 250 degrees F or 121 degrees C, depending on which type of filter cartridge you select. The water filter consists of an air vent which allows venting before start-up or draining. The filter provides up to 1,5 lpm flow rate, which is ideal for almost all residential and light commercial applications. Aqua Pure SS8 provides clean and fresh water for every water source in your house and eliminates rust, sediments, scale and chlorine.
Ease of use
This whole house water filter is very easy to use and maintain, because it has removable cartridge posts that lift out for easy cleaning and both sludge and clean chambers of the Aqua Pure SS8 have drain couplings for easy cleaning. It comes with a 10-year warranty on the stainless steel housing, and an installation kit which allows you to easily install the water filter on your water pipe.
